If their exhaust is such a great system, then why does everyone say they are waiting for Sema?
I think the factory exhaust tips are great. I've had more compliments on the tips than anything. Also love the fact that we can "hide" any type of aftermarket exhaust behind those factory tips which gives the car a sleeper look while not giving the popo an immediate reason to pull you over.

I think the JOEZ series exhaust is an excellent one. 20whp gains and an awesome exhaust sound seems like a winner to me. The reason it isn't flying off the shelves is because it isn't for sale yet. You can order it, but they haven't shipped.

I wonder if those alien looking things weigh less and flow more than it's muffler counterparts? I'm thinking probably not, but that design gets an A+ for creativity!

They are trying to keep the sound around the same as the stock exhaust but up the HP. I think they did a pretty good job, deffinately will make it a sleeper.

I personally think a V8 needs to be heard and I have some car maniacs that are going to do a custom job for me. (The wife will be doing most of the miles, but she does not have a choice!)

I was stunned when I saw the figures,

It is a 31 PS gain in power and a 0.38 kg-m gain in torque!

How do you translate that to hp/tq?

It equates to a 31 HP gain and 2.75 ft/lbs of torque.

2 ft lbs of torque

That sounds low, nice HP gains though

The JoeZ/PTS Exhaust I believe had substantially more torque increase...but then again it did get rid of the stock secondary cats...

This exhaust is quieter than the stock and I think that is what they are selling, still keep the quality lexus luxury but increase gains at the same time. And I think they did a good job, it is just not for me.

I'm just curious how they would claim that much hp gain while little gain on the tq side. There is an equation that needs to be followed and those numbers don't appear to add up. HP= TQ X RPM/5252.

Or maybe those numbers posted are not peak gains, but instead max gains at a certain rpm over stock. I guess we'd have to see a dyno graph to make any sense.

It is only run up to 4th gear at 175km/h, so that could entirely be possible?

BTW, the limiter cuts out at 180km/h, that could be one reason for not going further. But there is a limiter cut that has just been realeased a few months ago.
