Yeah, I got a couple of those already.

People are azzhats.

I sweated every minute in my Corvette. Babied that car, wouldn't take it anywhere it would get dinged, parked away from everyone. It looked great after 6 years of that and religious handwashing.

Didn't seem to make any difference at all when it came time to trade it in.

So I treat the F as a car. I drive it in the rain, park it where ever I need to and where ever I want to go. It's gonna get dings, no matter what I do. Might as well not sweat it too much.

Besides, I went to Stanford mall to go christmas shopping one year. In the parking lot right next to my "beater" was a Ferrari 430 and I saw another not far from there. Just parked like all the other sardines. Figure if they can be a big boy, well, so can I.

Howdy! Yeah, it's been an interesting ownership experience so far Haven't tried doing a full buff to it. Since the rainy season has started, I'm just going to give it a regular wash/wax, and wait until the spring to give it a full detail. Looking at the scratch, I'd say about 50% of it will be able to be removed by that method. After that, I think I'll try the pen route. I'm going to pick up a check today from the guys who dented the fender, and calling the body shop about the curbed wheel this morning.

It's funny, I've always said that I don't mind getting the first scratch out of the way early. That way you can relax a little about the car. But this is getting a little ridiculous!!

Yeah, I would love to see it. Thanks (as usual). Feel free to post or PM if you would prefer.

Going back to stuff the DRL module in today. The lights look great, BTW. Thanks for all the info on those. MUCH better than stock.

If the paint is OK, I vote for the paintless dent removal. I had it done once when the dealer dinged my car, and I didn't believe they would be able to make it undetectable. They did, though!

So long as the paint is not scratched, go with the paintless dent removal. If you live in socal, I can recommend a good one (mobile) that repaired my MB.

if you're in the WLA area, I used Elmer Flamenco from Xtreme Dent removal 818-339-7825 and i was thrilled with his perfect work...

Has anyone here tried the dry ice technique? I tried freeze mist, but it didn't work. Just wondering if dry ice on a hot day might do the trick. Lots of youtube videos on dry ice dent removal.
