"5 percent tint so you cant see up in my window" what yall know bout slim thug...lol.....no but for real I got a silver one and I got 15% on mine. I had a black 350 before the F and had 5 % and it was a little to dark. I think the 15% would be perfect...not TOO dark but yet dark enough...

Dude...DEFINITELY tint. I have Black IS350 with 35% tint (legal limit in NC) and looks much better than without. Want really cool looking? I suggest blue overlays on your fog light and light tint on headlight covers from Aerotect. Check them out at www.aerotect.com.

Hey lexicated, what did your shop do for the rear window and the brake light? My shop here said they had to make a cut and have a silhouette where the light is

They have done several of my vehicles in the past, they did not even mention it. I looked at it, there is a pretty big gap between the light and the glass. There was not a cut or silhouette around the light. I think you may want to check with another shop, the place I use has been in buisness for several years and they have never ask me anything about the brakelight on any of the vehicles.

One thing they did do on a previous IS(06) was melt the black plastic around the window (where the doors meet) on the outside. They told me to take it to Lexus, and send them the bill, I did and they paid for it, no questions (it cost more than the tint, seems like it was around $150-$200). I mention this because I always mention the plastic around the window when I have them to tint.

Ended up going with 35% all around....Will post pics after my Carbon Fiber Pillars come in!....I also changed the low beams to 8000k, swaped out the city lights for LED's and changed the running light (high beam) to a Pure Blue bulb. The pure blue bulb lights up a very clear white......no yellowish tint!
