Default IS300 + IS250 Trade for IS-F???

Here is the situation:

My wife owns:
02 Is300 Silver Great condition 50,000 Miles no nav no payments.

I am Leasing:
06 IS250 Blk/Blk no nav 18,000 Miles, payments 400/month.

My wife's sis is donating an 05 Land Rover Discovery (my wife loves it) silver 46,000 miles, She is moving to Dubai for business.

Should I Trade-In 02 IS300 plus IS250 and get IS-F.

I am looking for White with either white or black interior non nav.

What would you do?

So instead of having three cars, you'd sell the two IS's for an F and your wife would get the land rover correct?

Have you driven an F yet? If not, I'd say test drive one, that might make up your mind I don't see why it would be a bad move provided you can do it financially

Yes that is correct. What would the payments be like roughly you think. Great credit, have bought all my lexus from one sales person from Sewell Lexus, so should get a little break.

Is250: It is a lease but the payoff amount says 21,000. IS300: Paid off prob, get around 11-12K for it, with only 50,000 miles

You're lease payment will be somewhere in the high 900's to 1100 or so.

Probably looking at closer to $9500 or $10K for the 2002.

The link below might help you get a ballpark idea of what to expect. I'd visit Lexus and see what they have to offer and whether or not they're taking any off the 08 F's since 09's are slowly starting to arrive

Oh yeah, in Texas, the F's only come one way...loaded. Nav, ML, park sensors..they all sticker at about $61.5K.

Finding one without nav will be almost impossible.

The reson why I was looking for Non Nav is because I do not have it currently in my car now nor is it needed. I was trying to keep the cost down and spend it on other things once I get the car like wheels, kit, intake, and all of that other lovely stuff. I just purchased one way tickets for my wife and I to go on Dec. 10th so I will be driving the Land rover back from St. louis. thanks again for all of your input, I am going to test drive the IS-f this weekend.

UPDATE: I talked with my dealer and they have a White IS-F fully loaded on hold for me, until I return next week with the landrover. I spent this last week putting both cars back to stock, thanks to all who helped out in that project. Once I have the car in hand I will be taking photos and sharing them.

Thanks to everyone who helped out in making my decision. I ended up with a 3 year lease with the option to buy on a brand new 08 after both trade ins my monthly payment is 625 / month not too bad, i also got XM, tint, and opted for the wheel protection plan. Can't wait until next week. Woo Hoo!

$625 per month to lease an IS-F?! How much did you end up technically putting down? I assume the dealer gave you at least the buy-out for the 250, so I guess your down payment came from the equity you had in the 300, which I am guessing was in the $7k range - OUCH. Sounds like A LOT of money to put down on a leased vehicle.

With that kind of down payment did you look at all of your finance options to purchase the vehicle. There are some really good interest rates out there right now with longer terms 60 or 72 mo, that coupled with a lot of dealers are really negotiating the prices and in some cases selling F's at or below invoice. You could probably buy/finance for close to your lease payment.

My 06 Is250 only has 19,000 miles on it and the 2002 Is 300 only has 50,000 miles on it so the mileage doesn't matter on a lease for me, Also depending on what is available when my lease is over I can decide to get the next thing that is out or buy it. I go through cars to often to pay more money per month on a finance. I did a lot to my IS250 and kept everything and returnedit to stock, so you can still mess around with a leased vehicle customization wise. I don't plan on turbo or SC or nothing crazy just bolt ons, which can be taken off. I leased the IS250 and it worked out great.
