If you can't see a line or notice a difference what's the point? Tint is heat treated to window so does it matter long term either way? I give up!!!!

The tint shop I took mine to had no problems around the brake light. I would be concerned with the 'two' piece approach and seeing the demarkation line after some time has past.

Removing it should be the same way as removing it from any IS250/350. Reason why someone in that section would have taken it apart is to put in the "third brake riser" for when they add on the option trunk spoiler.
But yeah, it shouldn't have been an issue to cover that part. The place I took my GS to did it without a problem... the only problem was they left a tiny air bubble.
