Thanks Rob
I'm considering cutting off a half of a coil of the fronts that should drop it just enough.

Theses wheels are anything but sporty and elegant ! And this is not a taste argument, this is a fact !

You are joking right ? Cutting the springs got to be a joke, I can't wrap my mind around the idea of someone cutting springs on a $65k+, 170MPH, supersaloon... This is just dangerous and will kill handling and comfort.

Honestly if that what you want to do, I'm sure people can pitch in a little money for a set of Eibach !

I'm advancing you not to screw up with your wheels cause it might effect something in the wheel or they will suck. Just keep them as they are and don't listen to anyone opinion if you like them.

You bought them and paid for them, so don't screw them and don't change them unless you use them for a while.

This is my opinion these wheels.

cmazza posted pictures of his new wheels because he wants opinions. What's the point of having only positive feedback? I guess the people who said that the wheels don't fit the style of the IS-F (about 98% of the posts) are a-holes, right?

Thanks for sharing your pics. I will be honest and say i'm not a fan of the wheels on the F in particular, but the styling of the wheel it self looks pretty unique.

Do the right thing...get a good set of lowering springs.

I will follow the wisdom of the members here and NOT cut the springs. I'll look for a set of springs to drop the front a bit. Thanks all for the advice.

Granted you are entitled to your opinion about the man wheels and his lack of knowledge when it comes to lowering a vehicle. But suggesting that Cmassa can't afford a set of lowering springs .When earlier in the thread he stated that he drop over five thousand dollars for his wheels and tires. So I don't think a set of 249.00 Eibach is a problem

I would like to first welcome you to CL and say congrats on the purchase of your new wheels. You'll find a mix bag of people and taste on this or any forum. So with that said I guess you have to take the good with the bad. I personally like them and can see your vision. That is my opinion.I'll leave you this saying how does it go again.Oh yah opinions are like @ holes everybody got one.

Nice rims huh. But I think a Volk Race TE37 Magnesium Blue will look much better.
