2009 IS-F arrives.........
Hello people, I just picked up my Mercury met./black 2009 IS-F over the weekend.
I have had another Toyota product in the past, the 1994 Supra TT, that I sold several years ago. I have been driving the NSX for a while now and have been patiently waiting for either the LF-A or the NSX replacement and both of these seem to be still a couple of years away, at least.
I wanted a sports sedan in the family and looked at the M3, the c63 and the IS-F. I was very impressed by the Lexus as it is truly two cars in one. The reliability and build quality + the superb dealership experience and after sales service were just too much to ignore. I am most thoroughly impressed by the tight chassis and the immaculate fit and finish. After the first 1,000 miles of moderate driving, I will "open" her up and see what she can do. The car that I test drove, a red IS-F [2008] was a blast. I drove that car like I stole it and it brought a smile to my face that lasted until I stepped out of it.
Here are some quick pictures of the F in my garage next to my NSX. Some of the interior shots show the few changes to the F interior.
The shot of the front seats was taken at an angle where the blue inside color of the passenger seat is clearly visible as is the blue stitching.
Regards to all.
