So what is the answer? Isn't the oem hood aluminum? I think the Seibon Riced out piece of crap hood is actually heavier.

I can only imagine what people think when you pull up to a huge meet in your IS-F with a carbon fiber hood only to see acura integras and honda preludes with the exact same hood

pathetic in my OPINION

Are you basing this statement on anything, or did you just make it up?

the seibon CF hood is about a couple lb's lighter.

if ur looking for true weight savings on the hood, get a custom made dry carbon piece.

but ur also lookin at 3x to 4x the price of wet carbon

Nice, glad to see someone else passing on the rice for dinner

Other than the CF pillars and maybe a clean front lip spoiler, CF has no business being on the exterior of a car of this stature.

So a Carbon Fiber hood has no business being on the ISF, but stick-on Carbon Fiber door pillars do? I don't understand your logic. Afterall, they're both being used to modify the appearance of the vehicle.

Make up your mind, dude.

My mind is made up, dude.

Here we go again with this nonsense, dude. Look, dude.......the before mentioned opinions of mine are simply that. I don't have to justify anything to anyone. I personally think the pillars look clean and not ricey at all, and I'm sure most will agree with me. A CF hood is so much more "in your face" than a clean and subtle pillar modification.......in my OPINION............dude

But i'm sure it looks great on your car though

I didn't know that an Integra or Prelude hood is going to fit, that make it even cheaper !

This thread is going downhill fast. Either we stick to the topic or it gets locked. Topic is Seibon hood. It is not the merits of different types of carbon fibre or arguments about whether CF is appropriate on an F.

It has to be the same CF fenders that were installed on 0-60 magazine's SEMA ISF. That's cool that they're actually bringing them to the market!
