Default another light mod that is legal

i was planing to do my turn sigal light into white
i think it would look really cool that way.

http://www.911smart.com/vehicle_code.php
under code: 24953VC

Turn Signals Lamps (24953VC) - (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.

so its legal.

so my question, would u guys think it hard to change signal light?
i never done it before.
i am plaing to change my signal light, DRL, parking light at once.

another question.. according to:
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm

they said we need size 7440A/992 "turn signal bulb size"

but when i went to v-leds.com
the size they have is 7440.... is there a difference between 7440 or 7440A?
http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

thank u so much for your time.

A = is just referring to the color Amber...most turn signal bulbs come in either clear or amber...if the bulb type ends with an "A" then its the amber version of the bulb type...

It may be legal, but why do this? It will make your intentions of turning harder for other drivers to understand....they will see a blinking white light. Trust me, it will be harder.

There is a catch to the code you cited. The bulb can be clear, as long as there is an amber reflector that makes the emitted light amber. For the code, the emitted white light can only be seen from the front. If it can be seen from the side, then you will get a ticket.

Ex: you can have a clear bulb, with an amber lens/reflector or
you can have an amber bulb with a clear lens/reflector

[QUOTE=chikken;4052632]have you tried these?

I love those chrome bulbs that illuminate amber. Only wish more OEM specs utilized this. The newer Eclipses have a similar bulb (more rainbow) to this.
