I talked to a Sales person at a dealership this afternoon and basically there is what he called "Trunk Money" that Lexus is giving the dealers to help clear out '08's. He said that he could get me into a new 2008 ISF $1,000 under invoice. This is a great deal as any fool can see. Now I just need to get the wife on board

I stand corrected, there is dealer cash on the F's. We don't really have any, and I wasn't paying attention. But when a lot of people said, I checked into it. My bad.

It's not a full rebate, it's dealer cash. They are under no obligation to give it to you.

I was told today LFS is offering 0.9% for 36 months, 1.9% for 48 months, and 2.9% for 60 months on all IS. No word on "rebates" though. There are a few dealers in the SE with IS-Fs - Pembroke Pines is advertising 9 on the lot at autotrader.com.

4 mos ago, one can get for $500 below invoice. If you skillful at negotiation, I'm sure you can get at least couple grand$ off from the invoice, especially at a dealer that still has 5 or more ISF on the lot.

The sales person said that they had $3,000 in trunk money to use on the ISF.

can someone say definatively what the incentives are for 2008 IS-F's?

searches online are worthless for this stuff - they all lead to dealer contact pages.

if the base car invoices at 49k + options (being at about 55k fully loaded) and there is either dealer holdback or some kind of rebate being offered... i'd really like to know before I enter negotiations....

Thx

I went to my dealership 3 weeks ago and they were not willing to discount much about 3k of sticker when I mentioned that at Lexus forum a guy bought an IF for 51.5k he called me a week later that there was some money involved and I could get an IF for 51.9k and that is without haggling.

picked my Mica Blue up yesterday. 52k+TTL. i did some poking around while the biz manager left me in his office, there was an internal document that said (and i read it twice) that the $3000 in incentive money DID NOT apply if the purchaser took one of the low interest finance deals.

this paper was dated 12/17 (probably when it was printed)

i DID get the 2.9% financing on the car... so i don't know if that's just old paperwork or what...
