My shop (or the one I am planning to use for the install) said that alignment is required after replacing the coil (and lowering the car - even slightly) so I suppose you will have that done too? Thanks.

If you have an unlimited budget for tires, you can ignore their recommendation. If you want your tires to last and not die from inside edge wear prematurely, then alignment is essential.
