Thanks
Ohhh you painted the tips? Was it easy or a pain in the a**? I am thinking about doing this, please post up some pics once you get it all done

.....and I've forgotten which high temp paint was used, and also what prep to the surfaces for painting.

TIA
Colin.

Super easy, I just taped the wrapping plastic bag that come with it to mask the tubes, wet sanded with a 600 and just sprayed some very high temp flat black paint, total time maybe 1 hour...
I'm the office right now, will take pics later today and post them.

Default JoeZ Exhaust installed !

So this morning I installed the JoeZ exhaust, I was planning on a nice step by step with pictures, but I stop taking pictures after 2 photos... (it is too much of a pain by yourself...)

Old school...

The install took me 2h30, the hardest part was to get the right O2 sensor removal tool (I found one at Kragen), you will not be able to remove the O2 sensor without the tool, do not even try, you need the tool...

The O2 sensor

That all for the pics, now with the exhaust installed...

The whole muffler is blacked out so it doesn't shine too much though the exhaust finishers.

The final result is... OMFG... the sound is awesome, the idle sound is very mean, much meaner than the stock one, not too loud, just mean, then there is some whine from 2k to below 4k RPM that sound almost like a turbo, I like it, and then the roar past 4k is just exhilarating...

I will get my friend that has some pro audio recording equipment to try to get a set of very nice sound clips.

I cannot be more happy, easy install, crazy sound, this is a very satisfying mod...

Excellent work Timetoy! Seems the exhaust blackout is the way to go lately for the ultimate sleeper affect.

A pic of that tool would be very helpful, TT if you wouldn't mind posting.
Thanks
Colin.

Edit: does it look like this one?
