Nice install! I've been there when starting a DIY...and ended up not taking pictures throughout the whole thing lol. Wonder how this exhaust sounds when it's nice and broken in.

Here is the O2 removal tool from Kragen, that I use:

Kragen had another one, similar to this pic, but it was too short, as the O2 sensor, as seen in this pic, has a long metal flange (heatshield ?) around it.

For the sound, the look and the price and the performance gain...this definitely is the best bang for the buck on the IS F to date.

Jerome, Very Glad to hear your DIY installation went smoothly!!

Nice work with the blacked out mufflers, self install and pics..

Enjoy!!!

The install took me 2h30, the hardest part was to get the right O2 sensor removal tool (I found one at Kragen), you will not be able to remove the O2 sensor without the tool, do not even try, you need the tool...

The whole muffler is blacked out so it doesn't shine too much though the exhaust finishers.

The final result is... OMFG... the sound is awesome, the idle sound is very mean, much meaner than the stock one, not too loud, just mean, then there is some whine from 2k to below 4k RPM that sound almost like a turbo, I like it, and then the roar past 4k is just exhilarating...

I will get my friend that has some pro audio recording equipment to try to get a set of very nice sound clips.

I cannot be more happy, easy install, crazy sound, this is a very satisfying mod...

If this is what happens when you get a PTS exhaust, I might have to buy one even though I don't even have an F...
