Default Dealer Chipped My Wheel....

I took my F in for its 1000 mile service yesterday and asked them to check for the slightest of misalignment in the front end. I had just cleaned the wheels right beforehand so I know everything was fine. When I picked it back up, there was a small chip out of the front drivers side wheel (near the top). The tire looks untouched and like it had not hit anything during them driving it, so I can only imagine they did it up on the rack or something of that sort. It is a very minor chip and I know these will happen, but I'd prefer for it to be my own mistake. My dealer has said they are going to take care of it (at least on the phone they did), as the service manager is a friend of mine, but I'm worried they will not be able to repair it, and match the paint exactly. I searched here, but could not seem to find any updated paint code info for our wheels. I hate for them to have to buy me a brand new wheel, or get into a 'my word vs. there's on when the chip occured,' but I want it to be right. Has anyone had any good experience with these ISF wheels being touched up yet?
Thanks in advance,
Rob

I saw a mobile wheel repair company come to the dealer in Florida and was able to fix a IS-F wheel perfect. I don't see the dealer having any problem being able to fix it.

The dealer will have the paint code for the wheels for sure. I wouldn't worry to much about them not matching it correctly. I've seen a few touched up and they didn't seem to have any problem doing it Sucks that it happened at the dealership, hopefully it'll work out, keep us updated

Tire dealer scratched my wheel, they said they would pay for a new one if it couldn't be touched up. I took it to a paint shop (best in town) and the guy said there is no way he could fix it and make it look like new. So the tire shop bought me a new wheel to the tune of over 2 grand. Now a chip they might be able to touch up if it's small, but not a scratch of any size.

It is a small chip and the service manager said their wheel guy has already fixed an ISF wheel before, so I feel good about this. He ensured me it will look good as new and they have not let me down yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

the day i received my f, it already had a scraped rim. i heard thru the grapevine (employees) that it was the guy who washed it. it seems like the lexus car wash has these rails that they drive the car onto as is gets washed. i got the rim "replaced" after a couple days of calling and speaking to my sales rep. at first, they wanted to paint it but the company couldnt ensure that it would match exactly. ive inspected the rim many times to see if they actually repaired it. its looks perfect. i cant complain either way. i hope your problem gets resolved but i didnt let them just fix and paint it. that finish is verrry hard to match...

I do the same, I tell the service manager I don't want them dusting, vacuuming, or washing it. Just change the oil and rotate the tires and that's it. I also tape a note on the dash that says, do not wash or clean car at all. Just the service. Although on my last IS-350 they chipped the fender on the oil change. I'm thinking with the couplings on the oil hose. Pissed me off big time.

You have them rotate tires on an F or an IS350? They have staggered tires, so I hope they're not rotating them!

The F has wheels that are specific to each corner of the car (all four wheels are different from each other), as well as staggered tires. No rotating.
