Just finished the IS-F project last week. Installed a set of 20" VIP modular wheels and JIC coilovers for the suspension drop. Achieved 3 inch lip in the front and 4 inch lip for the rear. The custom Lexus IS-F video can be viewed on YouTube .
Looks good! I really like the way the car sits with the drop. What setting do you have the coilovers on or reference? And are there any rubbing issues?
I debated on the rivets, but they look good while the car is moving on the street. I have videos and should be up on YouTube.
I installed JIC coilovers that was set at 2.5" drop and shaved the rear fenders to keep the tires from rubbing. Test drove with 2 big guys in the back seat and it barely rubs on dips and speed bumps. I took the car around corners on high speed turns and it rubs every single time. When I only had front passengers, no rubbing was heard.
