Top speed IS-F???????

yeah, was driving down the interstate going about 20 over (95) and there was a state boy sitting up on the off ramp. As soon as I saw him start to roll I lit it up and was somewhere around 165 for two miles until the next off ramp and I took it which led me into a suburb of a major city (where I was heading) and did some side street shuffles and pulled into a huge home depot and parked it and did a little un-needed shopping for an hour then rolled over to the party we were heading too. That cop never had a chance. By the time he got up to speed I was already a good 3/4 miles ahead of him and he probably never even saw me get off the interstate. I love doing that crap. Not sure why they even try, they aren't catching a F'n IS-F!!!

Glad to hear you actually put them in the fenders..
Another option to wire them could be with the puddle lamps or door light switch.. So when you approach the car they will light up..
I would also then throw in a stand alone switch to Turn ON or OFF on demand.

P.S. - Speeding is Good, but only on a closed course or race track....

i was kinda stumped when i did wire them so i decided that i only use my fogs at night so i ran them there and i did not want any other switches in the car. i do like the idea of them coming on with the puddle lamps too!

Haven't gotten it past 120 before and that was on a wide open freeway with no one around! I've been wanting to take it to a track and really open it up!

Sometimes I take those vids with a grain of salt. Since most of the limiting force is aerodynamic drag at those speeds, a tailwind or headwind will make a great deal of difference. ie: My Chevy Beretta in a slight headwind couldn't break 100 mph but with a slight tailwind, I was doing 120 mph. So, if I were going to attempt to hit the speed limiter, I'd do it on a windy day in the direction of the wind.
Also, to the speedster, if you were doing 165, in a matter of only 20-25 seconds you're already about a mile away from him not to mention pulling rapidly away. The cop had no chance - unless he had a buddy waiting. You still can't beat the Motorola.

Wikipedia says Top Speed: 161 mph (259 km/h) indicated/155 mph (249 km/h) electronically limited, 200mph (308kmh) delimited with DKG (320kmh).
