I know some people here in the forum have access to the service manual (through a website), can someone please post instructions of how to remove the ECU? That's the only step that is holding me from shipping the ECU to Andy.

Thanks.

We aren't going far without some instruction on the ECU/TCU removal....

Can someone post up instructions please. Juan would love to get them out and in the mail.

C.

I dunno if it was asked or mention anywhere in this thread (I might have missed it), but does MHP = Modern Horsepower?

Ok,
The ECU/TCU is a single unit like we thought.

It's located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, directly in front of the strut. Sealed up in a water tight container. The release tabs are supposed to be located on the top of the control unit (pull out on them and the connectors will pop right off) vs on the sides with the Euro stuff.

Sounds like a pretty simple removal/install.

Remember to disconnect the battery (just one cable) before removing/resintalling in order to avoid a current spike.

Thanks
Andy
