v2 gains vs. stock. We actually upped peak gains up top to to 23rwhp/20rwtq at 6000rpm.

I believe a couple of guys have gotten the ECU done so far and as of yet, I don't see any improvement in the 1/4 mile. Also, I don't believe the RPM has been raised any yet either. We'll need more 1/4 mile runs with better traction to determine if the ECU mod has really done anything in real world driving.

The RPM wasn't raised, on my dyno sheets you can see that I hit the speed limiter in 6th gear, but when I did a 5th gear pull the rev limiter was still there at 6800 RPM. I gained about 20 RWHP though and improved my 1/8 mile times in 0.2s, my trap speed improved as well in about 2 MPH. I tested the tune against another IS-F and I pulled consistently on the top end (not that I walk him easily but enough to make clear that my car was stronger).

Have you been testing/dynoing your car stock? Any mods? This thread got so long I forgot what you had.

I think the problem is that there are people out there (like me) who spent considerably less and gained as much (or more) than the ECU tune. In order for someone like me to bite at that price I need to see a 40-50 rwhp pick up over where I'm at now.

You will almost never see 40-50 hp gain on a non-aspirated car from a tune alone. 20 hp is awesome given that the 2UR-GSE engine doesn't have much left to give in the way of power.

Why would you think that?
