Default 09 F Pricing

I just sold my 07 350, and I am now shopping for an F. For those of you who have purchased an 09 can you tell me what I should expect pay for one, are the dealers discounting the 09's or are they selling for MSRP?

Thanks

I have a 2009 IS F but it was special ordered. If you're looking for an 09, expect to pay MSRP at this time. Dealers here in the Western Region (CA, NV, AZ, OR and etc) still have 2008's in their inventory and are giving awesome deals on them along with the crazy financing for the 2008 only (0.9%/36, 1.9/48 & 2.9/60). Until the 08 inventory is depleted, there will be no 2009 IS F's readily on the lots for a while. The only 2009 i'm aware of at any dealership here in the western region is Longo Lexus. They have an Ultrasonic Blue with Black interior 2009 with Mark Levinson/Navigation on the showroom floor.

unless it REALLY matters to you, i would not buy an 09. The deals to be had on the 2008's that are left are really good (+/- 10k off MSRP + good finance rates). i dont think there was anything major changed in the year transition anyway.... and at 10k off MSRP they get you a lot closer to being dead even with what the car is worth "used" - so you aren't buying yourself into an upside down car... 5k down and you aren't upside down.

just my opinion

Like badude (Doug) said I would look at some 2008's dealerships still have and get a great deal on one of those. With the money you save yourself, you could purchase some mods for the F Below is a list of the changes between the 2008's and 2009's. There is no exterior changes and very subtle interior changes. If you really want the Terra Cotta interior, that is only in the '09 version

Enjoy

FYI I was at my local Lexus Dealer (Toledo Ohio) a few days ago and they had two 08 F's left: one was marked 9K off sticker and the other was 7K off sticker. Looks like there are some really great deals out there for anyone interested.
