I decided to have a little fun after work so I shredded up the local streets on my way home. I braked hard a few times and when I parked my car in the garage, it smelled like a sewage leak. I thought a pipe burst, but the smell was prevalent around my brakes/wheels. No, I didn't run over animals or small children. My engine and exhaust smelled normal. Is it supposed to smell like crap after a series of hard braking?

Bro, my car did the same thing I thought something was wrong because I "tore it up" with only 5-600 kns on it, but a few members her explained that it's a kind of "varnish" on the brakes. Once the brakes have been used it will burn off.
