Any tips for us novice D60-ers? You take some great photos. Looking forward to the next batch.

Because it was night time and in a garage, I ended up shooting with a tripod. If you're shooting at night time or in dark situations, I'd recommend using a tripod so you don't have blurry photos. The photos I posted were taken in aperture priority at f/18. I wanted everything to be clear and visible in the image. I also used a remote trigger so that when I push the shutter release I don't accidently shake the camera. I'm not sure what kind of remote the D60 uses. Back when I had the D80, the camera had a IR remote. With the D300, I had to use a cable connected to the front of the DSLR.

^^the other classic trick to kill shake is using the self-timer. I've done that many times - even with snapshot cameras it makes a big difference.

Great shots. I like the water on the car, it brings out a completely different emotion.

Who thinks I should go with an Auto Couture front lip or a Lexon front lip?

A front lip really adds a "flair" to the car. Sets it apart a little more then other F's out there. I'd say go for it

So this is the Auto Couture lip that I found on the web and converted to look obisidian...

This is Cathafer's image I converted to look obisidan. She has the Lexon Lip

I like both but wanted to see what you think looks better.

Between the two, I'd pick the Lexon. If you do get it, take some shots - I've got Obsidian too.

I think the IS-F can look more aggressive. I saw a blue RS4 in NYC and love the muscular stance of the car. If you saw my car at night time, it just looks like a normal IS.

Ok how about Lexon lip vs ventross CF lip? Which do you think looks better. I like the Cf but the design looks plain.

Hmmm I am personally a fan of the Lexon. I don't like the Ventross one, it sticks out too much IMO, almost like a scoop. The Lexon really sets the car apart
