BTW, can anyone see that there is a number plate holder that is formed in the bumper on the Japanese models? That is the reason why I asked if the US models have slightly different dimensions that would make fitting aero parts difficult.
That's not formed. The color keyed license plate bracket, (which only comes in black here in North America) is bolted in. There are no differences with the exterior of any IS F in the world other than the side markers on the fenders outside of North America.

That is a relief and as I have not recieved mine yet I cannot check. I just assumed that it was formed b/c I think my 600hL's plate holder is part of the bumper(I have not really taken a close look, but I will tonight when I get off work).
