Well, it is advertising and marketing. When people take pictures of the front of the car, they can easily see the aftermarket branding.
It also gives hope to people like me cuz I have a front plate too.

No one can take the front plate off the car b/c most lexus dealerships won't service the car if your mods make the car unroadworthy and having no plates on the front of the car is a big no no here so showing a car without it is not really going to do anything b/c you can't do it it anyway. Plus like someone else said it also is due to advertising.
