My advice is to try and sell your car first. Dealerships tend to make you forget how much you are getting for your old car while they entice you will a "deal" on the new car. Try car max or be patient and give cars.com or auto trader a try.

agree, sell your car private first otherwise you can hardly get much money for trade in. you can go to kbb to get an idea about trade in price, but keep in mind kbb is always on the high side, expect maybe 1-2k less with current economy

on the 08 is-f, look for 3k under invoice at least, that's what i have been hearing?

I agree, sell your car first then you have much more power to negotiate. I sold my 07 350 for 30K but it did have low miles < 8K. But you should be able to sell yours for around 27-28. I paid 5K below invoice for my F, with the economy the way it is, there are amazing deals out there, you just have to haggle.

First things first!

08' = 8 feet
'08 = 2008 year

As I mentioned during our conversation, make sure you get the white/white combo at Lexus of Clearwater

That is all...

I traded my 2007 IS250 AWD and got what I owed on in to get my F. But then again I leased the 250 and didn't care what it was really worth.

I'm an SC guy from FL - Orlando to be exact.

I am absolutely in the market for an IS250 or 350.
Where are you located?

Recently got back from Local Dealer, They only offered me 22k for my IS350. so thats pretty much a wash from what i still owe on the loan, They did offer me a '08 IS-F MSRP of $61,625 down to $51,225 and with taxes and all it would come to $55,693. Whats the hell is the Dealer Service fee of $599. Do you guys think they could come down more?

I had 1year left on my finance till I owned my IS350(2006) free and clear, traded it in for the ISF. Point is, my 350 depriciated rediculously, my sales advisor advised me to sell it privately through the dealer, but I couldn't wait that long. You'll get the most bang for the buck if you sell privately.

I paid about $70,000.00 - Is350, sport pack, extra extra extended warranty. Added tints, spoiler, and illuminated door sills. They only offered $27,000.00 - which I negotiated into $30,000.00

Oh and that's in Canada
