That's pretty hefty for just a spoiler. You an get an entire carbon fiber trunk for that much....

carbon fiber is like a big dong...good to have, but you wouldn't whip it out every chance you get. the kit is ok, but ruined by the bare carbon fiber look...I don't like it

But quality is a big key here. Wald fitment is x100 > Seibon sorry to say.

How are the ventross CF parts compared to both wald and seibon quality wise? I imagine it would be in the middle in terms of quality

Vorsteiner uses high grade materials. Seibon is on the opposite end of the scale. Very poor fitment and inconsistent material quality.

This is consistent across Seibon's product line. A good friend ordered a full carbon kit for his FD3 drift car and ended up sending it all back. Nothing fit right, gaps were huge and could not be adjusted to look decent even on a race car. He said this was true for almost everything Seibon his shop ordered, and they warned customers about this before they would order anything.

I'm sure it's possible to get something from Seibon that does fit first time, but the odds of it looking the way you'd like are pretty tiny if you're even a little bit picky. If you have it "fixed" to look good, you'll spend more than the difference between Seibon and the better quality stuff that fits right the first time.

When i get an is-f, this kit will be sitting in the garage waiting for it (minus the trunk spoiler)

Slightly over done, but it still looks good. I love the front bumper

from what i understand the IS and IS-F trunk is identical. i think WALD just has to get it right on the price.

here's some extra pics from the TAS show
