I got my 2008 Is-f used when I was 27 during the summer of 2009. Previously, I have owned a 1995 Acura Integra Ls, 2004 Subaru WRX, and a 2001 Honda Accord.
Out of the last three, only the Integra was significantly modified with a make shift turbo kit with an array of parts salvaged from eBay. Mind you, this was 95, I had so many random parts from different cars such as a T3 turbo from a 1989 Nissan Z, turbine housing from some unknown make of Saab, and custom piping made out of radiator hoses from Autozone.
Despite the Lexus having over 400 hp, my measly Integra to this day has been the most exhilarating and memorable experience. I suppose it's because of the non-linear power increase when the turbo finally spools up or the sweet sound of the turbo.
