Lexus of Orlando is the biggest piece of *****.. they over charge for everything.. and they don't care about you... so i go to Toyota.. they do the exact same maintenance.. and if they don't have a certain piece.. they will pick it up from a lexus dealership at cost, and fix it...

the only thing they cant do is warranty work

Why do you refer to Dealerships as Stealerships? Do you work for free? If so then change my oil and do my maintenance! Why would you buy a car from a Stealership then? Lexus is not like other makes and they are very Service oriented. i guess you have never been to Nordstroms! I do buy clothes from there and i know it may be at retail but i like good service! but i guess others are ok going to less service orientated places! maybe thats you!
in that case its about 100 bucks to change your oil yourself! have fun!

Wow, take it easy, bro. Calling dealerships 'stealerships' on forums is a joke for the outrageous fee they charge. I guess you haven't been on many car forums. I have never been to Nordstrom? All of my jeans are True Religion, 7, RR, etc. And the service is hit or miss there as well...Nordstrom has some solid workers, but also some of the most stuck up teenage workers I've ever seen in my whole life.

The best advice I can give is call the closest dealership and talk to someone in the service dept and ask them for pricing. It appears maintenance pricing varies thru out the country.

I will probably do that when the time comes closer. I heard that my local dealership, Lexus of Glendale in Southern California, is quite stellar as well. I'm tempted to take advantage of an '08 right now, but I really like the '09 and hope to land a great deal by summer to fall.

DFLORES- another reason why the workers at Nordy are so helpful is because they're one of the few that are still on commission. Once, during their annual sale, a lady worker helped a guy in a mid life crisis redo his whole wardrobe. His dressing room happened to be next to mine and he dropped his key on the floor, a Lambo. He spent nearly $7,000 on new wardrobe so that lady got a nice chunk of commission from him.

Me either. And I won't. Mobil 1 at Wal-Mart is $23 for 5 quarts. Filters are $42 for a box of 10. So for slightly more than $50 in parts, I'll be changing my oil at home with no worries of the dealership doing anything to damage my F.

Strangely enough, I looked at my mileage today, and I've only got 2100 miles on the car since December 13. I usually have that much in the first week. It might be a bit before this thing gets even 5k on it - lots of business air travel in the next month, so it will be sitting at the airport. I still can't bring myself to park the Supra at the airport...

^^^
I'm surprised you would even consider parking your F at the airport. I would be so paranoid about something happening to it like someone hitting it or something. I don't know which airport you're going to but Newark Airport Parking is BAD

The F is nothing special at Hartsfield. Lots of BMW and MB rides worth a lot more park there.

+1 to to the long list of bad things I've heard about Newark.
