Default Prices on maintenance on the IS-F?

Hey fellas, I'm looking at possibly getting an IS-F around the summer time. I just want to know the prices the stealerships charge for service such as oil changes, 15k maintenance, 30k maintenance, etc.

Thanks in advance!

The 1k and 5k service are free at the dealerships. The 1k is just a checkup on the car to make sure everything is going smoothly and the 5k is your first oil and filter change, fluid check, etc. After these two free ones, I'm not sure what the cost is as I haven't gotten there yet. I would guess that the oil change is going to depend on what type of oil you use and if you buy it yourself or get it from the dealership. If you get synthetic as opposed to the normal oil your dealership uses, it's going to cost more for the oil although the service should be the same price. I'm sure someone will have more detailed info about the specific mile services

So you're saying the oil change would be around $224? ($100 more than your 124). That's almost as much as an M! Lol. The oil change you paid for your IS250 even costs more than what my stealership charges on my 335i!

Thanks for the input, BigMike. Hopefully someone else can chime in as well.

I have not had them done yet, I am sure some members have. But, I would anticipate spending at least $2K..$3K every 15K miles, most of the money going to change all four tires, the brakes pads and/or rotors, plus minor maintenance stuff (oil, oil filter, air filter).

In this kind of car and with Lexus reliability standards, I would not expect any belt, hose, sensor, actuator, spark plugs, etc. to be replaced before 100K.

This is the primary reason why I'm considering the IS-F...reliability, unlike M's and AMG's out there, hehe.

I think rotors would be quite pricey since they are quite large and drilled already. But with normal usage, I don't think they should go out before 30k miles.

So oil changes are roughly 100 bucks? Interesting, they are 50 bucks in my IS350.

Don't forget that the IS-F takes 9.8 quarts of oil.

just do it yourself oil change is basically the same as the is350 same tool to remove the oil filter and has a small cover hiding it like the 350....just get a bigger container to catch the oil....i did it very simple....the filter and gasket at the dealer was about 12 bucks and oil depending on what u get i used regular valvoline....everything was less than 40 bucks....the drain plug was almost in the same place but it points to the back instead of the side...

I'm probably going to do it myself, I was just inquiring.

6 quarts of oil, oil filter, and the spacer for the oil drain plug for my 335i costs about $70 from the dealership and I do the changes myself in between the free ones. It costs $120 at the dealership so $50 goes to labor.

^Because it's the most convenient for me. I 'order through the internet department' to get the special pricing. It doesn't cost much less to go else where, $5 or so difference.

They don't question your car when you bring it in? I know it's a Toyota at heart, but I'd figure they would question why would you bring your IS-F to their dealership, and not a Lexus one.
