Dyno Down Under - Had a chance to put my bucket of bolts on a Dyno today at a local Spring Nats in country Vic.

Car pulled 263.1 Kw / 352.8 HP on first run in 5th (21C outside temp).

Here is my baseline on a Dyno Dynamics machine in Colorado Springs, everyone I've spoke to says this is the most accurate machine in Colorado... The numbers shown are corrected to adjust for the 6000 feet of nose bleed elevation we have here. I asked the guy what the "real" number was and he calcualted it out at 301 for todays reading. I cant wait to buy some upgrades

I see you're from VA. What track did you go to? Can you post a time slip?

Much of it comes down to a clean launch, nailing each shift just right in manual sport mode and weight reduction techniques such as less than a 1/4 tank of gas, removing the spare, etc.

I'm sure you could have done better at MIR. Capitol is horrible.

I have an appointment for base numbers on a dynojet at Granite State Dynonand Tune on 4/7.
I'm going to also try the two intakes I have to see what I get out of them.
iCode silicone pipe w/AFE drop in.

I went to Atco Raceway tonight being a nice cool night in the 40's. I couldn't get these M/T ET Streets to hook up. I tried launching anywhere from 1500 to 3000 rpm. Tire pressures from 20-26psi. The best 60' I got was a 1.99. Best E.T. was 12.6 @ 113 mph. Any tips on launching is appreciated.

Could be bad track prep, water in staging or maybe you're not heating the tires up enough.

Atco doesn't let you drive around the water box. Here's a video inside the car. It was around 42 degrees during this part of the night. I thought I heated them up ok. I also hear you are not supposed to do a long burnout with these drag radials. I'll have try another day or another track.

You don't need a long burn out, but heating them up quick and thoroughly is best. You don't want to do it so long as to heat soak of course, so I've found it best to spin them up quick through the top of second gear and stop. You did a rather long first gear burn out which may have done more harm than good.

Btw what are your mods?

Ahh, I didn't think about going into 2nd. I'll try that out next time. Are you running the same M/T's - 245/40/18?

Joe Z intake pipe with OEM filter. I just had the ISS Forged DES exhaust installed last Thursday.
