Joe Z intake pipe with OEM filter. I just had the ISS Forged DES exhaust installed last Thursday.
Yup I'm running the same 245/40/18 MT's. I've never had an issue with them hooking up and I typically run around 30psi.

Default atco raceway

I too just recently went to atco I believe it was october 11. Cold night on street tires I ran a 12.76 and didnt have the 60' you are getting. I dont have my slip in front of me but when I get home I will compare them. I have noticed that if you shift a tiny bit too late it will really make a difference in the time. But with drags on there I would think you should be doing much better than me.

Actually, I think I'm shifting too early. I tried to anticipate and shift right at the "beep" and lost .3. Looking at the other videos like cayman's it seems like you need to shift a half second or so to be at rev limit. Cayman or Dv8 might be able to enlighten us.

PM me if you want to meet up at Atco. I want to test this theory out along with the launch technique advice given earlier.

Finally made it to the track this Sunday, toronto motorsport park, temps 14'c, anyways quite happy with the new wheel setup thanks to DV8 (275 40 17 MT's), best times 12.64@13.7 mph

The tires griped awesome, after heating them up was launching at 1600rpms or 1700 and couldn't spin off the line if I wanted to thanks again DV8

The car is 08 and all stock exept for the wheels,

btw the slip machine was broken so had to find out the times from my bother that was in the stands.

Default What am i doing wrong????

This is kinda embarrasing that i couldn't even come close to stock factory numbers... but i'm posting these slips up for everyones advise... am i just a bad driver?...... all runs were done in 'Sport' mode.. with electronic aids turned off.. (trac/vsc) .. 92 degrees farenheit....Stock wheels and tires... i didn't get very much wheel spin off the line launching at about 1k-1500 RPMs... so i'm kinda feeling stupid for hitting these times...

mods on the car can be found here >>> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...thread-12.html

Were you manually shifting?

I'm not familiar with your 20 inch wheel/tire combo weight measurements. Are they much heavier than stock? Also, your K&N could be the result of heat soak that many members are talking about.

IC... maybe i'll try putting the stock intake back in the next time.... and the stock 19" wheels were on when i ran the car so i dont' think that was the issue

looks like you're sleeping at the lights, try jumping when the 2nd yellow drops and 3rd yellow flashes on. getting out the blocks is a lil tricky. maybe a lil too much wheel spin out of the hole.

Today I took my car to a local Dyno shop about 45 minute drive one way and had the car dynoed...
As soon as I got there they mounted the car on the dyno and started the runs.....
First run was 360 RWHP 337 RWTQ...6th gear
Second run was 355 HP and 317 TQ...5th gear
Third run was 351 HP and 319 TQ... 4th gear
All three runs were done in a total time of about 10 minutes.
The shop fan for the dyno did not work.
I left there pretty sad.
Later today I ran against my friend in a friendly test. He has an Audi S4 with APR reprogram, APR Intake, APR Pulley amongst a few other things.... He is making around 390 AWHP and 370AWTQ.... I pulled about 3-4 car lengths on him every time we did a test run today.
I am confused on the results of my local dyno shop. Should I take the car to another dyno shop?
The mods I have are the SIKKY headers, K&N intake wrapped and air box sealed to prevent heat soak.
The car runs and feels great!

Dont worry about the dyno numbers. If your car runs and feels great, I dont see a problem. Though the numbers my seem a bit low, you really dont know what the actual difference in HP is. Based on your whp, you probably put down 320whp stock on this particular dyno so I wouldn't worry about it.

It looks like the dyno operator was in a hurry trying to get you out of there... and no fan? I hope you didn't pay for those runs! I'd try a different shop just to make sure that your numbers are on par with the rest of the people in here.

Nothing in life is free, they charged my $75. All is good though...
