looks like the most important thing i see is to have a 330 time below 5.60 in order to get a run in the low 13's or high 12's my question is how much time will you save in the 330 if you have all trac aid's off along w/vsc in sport mode vs. just manual shifting in sport mode

Yep, Joe-Z all the way. All I have is the Joe-Z intake with an AFE Pro Dry filter. I got a 4.1 0-60 time using GPS. Notice that the CCS-R is using a very similar intake.

Sport, VSC off, manual shift on the beep. 13.2 - those must be some heavy wheels. What was the trap speed?

Yeah i had vsc off i know i forgot to use sport mode. Yeah trap was 108mph with 2.0 60ft.. He also had 295-25-20 rear with 245-30-20 front i dont know how far that throw off the odometer mph.

That's a really low trap. Should be at least 110. The wheels are the right diameter, but they must be really heavy and at 20" they're heavy where it hurts most.

Yeah i figure the wheels. Cause on my 350 going from my stock to 19 weds is big differnce on how it picks up. We were hope to get in the 12's tonight.

Default Drag problems

Hi Guys - i am new to the forum and i am from Bulgaria , Eastern Europe but we have very few IS-F's here since audi and bmw are king on this side of the world. Anyway to the question:

I was doing some drag times with my 2011 Is-f and i am disappointed to say the least!

The car is bone stock including the Michelin tires. I was doing 13.6 to 13.7 consistently all day.

Now what i want to know is how much the weather affects the drag times since outside was reallyyyyyyy hot i mean burning! 30-32 degrees Celsius which is around 90 in Fahrenheit. Also the track itself stands on 860m above sea level. Could those two things be the reason ?

Also what kind of preassure should i use on the tires ? Right now i am on max since i was doing 270 km/h going back and front to the seaside But i am thinking that i have too much wheel spin on the starts even though my reaction time is 0.180 - 0.200 which again might be too much.

I am using sport mode, vsc off (i am pressing the button until all two traction control lights go on) and manual shifting untill beep.

Please help! I am going back tomorow without a spare and low gas hopping for atleast a low 13 Any help is appreciated!

p.s. and i cant make a decent start since reeving above 1000 rpm makes huge wheel spin.

Wheel spin is probably your main problem. Do you heat them up some by doing a small burn out?

Yup - before each start they are poring a bit of water on a particular spot where i do a burnout but i don't know exactly what you mean by small.
