^That isn't an ISF motor so I don't consider it an actual ISF.

Did you see the frame? Full tube chassis. It's as much an IS-F as the "stock" cars of Nascar are street versions of what we can buy.

Default Closing drag time for my ISF which started this thread 6 years ago

I originally posted the first ISF drag time slip which prompted the opening of this thread.
Now 6.25 years later I traded my 2008 ISF 47.5k miles for $30k for 1/2 of wife's OOD 2015 RX450h.
Here are the weekend prior best drag time all stock and full tank of gas with some very old Michelin Pilot AS+ tires.
I am very happy with 12.952.
Goodbye great car no replacement found yet... RC-F?

So my best today was 11.879@119.63. A nice tail wind, -892 DA and nailing the shifts perfectly (hitting the limiter on each shift) were the primary contributing factors. Since I ran my 11.914 run, I've also added lighter BC Racing Coilovers, Lighter Borla exhaust and slightly lighter 18" drag wheels utilizing the same 245/40/18 MT Street ET tires.

I had a great 1.827 60' this time, though I was able to hit a 1.826 last year. Trap speed was incredible today! I managed several 121 mph runs with my best of 121.46. I also had the pleasure of running a Camaro ZL1 (mods unknown), the new C7 Vette (mods unknown) as well as an E63 AMG with headers, exhaust and drag radials. One of the close runs between the E63 and I resulted in a 1.870 60' to his 1.874 and a 12.027@121.04 to his 11.850@120.08. Basically each time we ran whoever got off the line soonest won the race. It was that close.

A few videos and time slips are posted below.

I lost track of this thread in the last 6 or so years. So in summary what is the fastest ISF?
my guess
Bolt Ons, with 18inch wheels + some weight reduction?

Is that a new world record on a stock motor? They have another ISF that runs mid 4s but there is not much ISF left besides the body.

Yep stock motor 630whp 200+ shot. I think it would be in the 10s if it has better tires.
