Here's a video my friend did of the event I attended two weekends ago. I have a thread running against his Camaro SS when he recently bought it. Our rematch should be coming soon!
Here's a second video just released by Jeffrey, from Jazzyfilms! He was also part of our crew that night! I will also post up my updated time slips from the following weekend.
Im car 2124 Left. The last run (farthest to the right) was a bust! The water box area was completely overfilled. I always skip the water box and "try" to attempt a light burn out to clean the tires. I really suck at it...none the less, At launch my rear end went completely crazy off the line.
I managed to keep control of the car and not slam to the wall but it totally ruined my last run. I left on such a note! I feel my reaction times are getting better. For the most part of the night I ran a new F80 M3. I had an awesome run with a 6.4 challenger bumble bee edition. All the owners ranging from BMW, Dodge, MB, Cadillac, and more loved the F. They had no idea of the V8 under the hood.
All runs were done with traction control settings off (long press) on button. Sports mode ON, factory sized tires 225/40/19F 255/35/19R Toyo Proxes 4 plus. Manual shifting on paddles and ISS Forged Quad Exhaust System. All engine covers were removed, floor mats in cabin and trunk removed, everything in trunk removed. 3/4 of fuel.
K&N Typhoon Intake, worn factory tires with 30 psi in the rears, half tank of pump gas 93 octane, foot brake to about 1,800 rpm's at launch. Best runs were in full auto mode for some odd reason. Will play with this some more soon in manual mode and different shift points.
THE DA NUMBERS ON THESE ARE OFF SOME. WROTE WRONG NUMBERS ON WRONG SLIPS.
Gains were impressive just for an intake install - 375 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, a gain of 18 horsepower and 7 lb.-ft. of torque. If you look at the torque curve at about 5,900 rpm, the IS-F is producing 20 lb.-ft. more than stock.
