KLexus50 that's an impressive time slip! Especially under the conditions you ran under. It's very apparent your car is making some serious F power. I can only imagine with an empty trunk, less fuel, better tires, decreasing R/T, and cutting that 60ft. I would also turn off all traction controls, but you must ensure that power to the ground is in check. Seen far too many cars smacking the wall during their runs. Good run! Thanks for sharing!

RT has no relevance on your ET by the way. You can sit at the tree all night if you want to. Launch when ready.
Definitely sounds like you need stickier tires though. Hop is interesting. Something is a bit worn. Almost as if you are in and out of traction. Should be spinning or hooking.

Bolt on ISF 1/4
Last night I made it out to San Antonio raceway.
2008 ISF
PPE Headers, Joe z elbow, rr racing tuned intake, tune, custom exhaust( more or less straight piped), and 275 continentals in the rear.
DA was +3500 the whole night and my intake temps were high the whole night.
I ended up with a best of 12.58 at 115.xx. I was hoping for a low 12. I never managed a sub 2 60ft
Do do you think the exhaust is holding me back be it there is no x or h pipe? Also I have not deleted the secondary cats.

512ISF, that's an excellent time considering the da. Noted that high ambient temps are in the mid 90's in your location.
Popular wisdom says an X or H pipe helps both sound & power. But then popular wisdom is not always "best". How do you like the way the car currently sounds?

First time going to bimmerfest without a bmw
Anyway here are my best runs, it was pretty hot on the track.
My best runs seemed to be when I would just gun it on the light, previous runs I was trying to launch around 1k rpm.
How do you guys start off at the track? I'm debating whether to get headers next or a set of 18s and some MT et tires? I don't understand how people stock are getting 12.7s/12.6s
12.863 @ 112.50
60' - 2.060
Mods are - rr tune, xforce catback

I headed down to Capitol Raceway this evening. I ended up getting in 5 runs, all of which were slower than I would have liked. While it got cooler as the evening went on, the DA the entire evening was between 2100-2300+...booo. My first run ended up being my fastest...12.274 @118.69. I never slipped a tire, but no matter how I launched I couldn't drop into the 1.8X 60ft range. It was a fun evening though. There were Pro Mod quals going on...fastest time of the night was 5.89 @238!
