I thought today would be the day I finally squeaked into the 11s. The DA was pretty good...approx -400. I was the first one down the drag strip and my second pass was my best. It was the only pass with a really good 60 ft time and when higher hp cars started laying down rubber, my 60 ft got slower and slower until I was getting wheel hop and spinning.
Oh well, I guess 12.0 @ 117.4 is nothing to get disappointed about.

Last Friday was the first race night of the year, so day 6 of owning my ISF had her at the drag strip. Car has a 2.5" custom catback with xpipe, decatted OEM manifolds, stock tune and a Injen intake. Running OE wheel size with "Lion heart" tires. My first pass was a 12.70 at 111, this was my wifes pass, she got down at 111 too(instagram cut off the MPH doh!).
Car needs a crank pulley, the belt drive is slipping and rattling which causes it to pull timing from false knock. Have the full RR-Racing power kit on the way. Going to do the crank pulley and motor mounts, sit it up on the dyno and do several runs then install the tune/intake/AOS and see how it does. The headers are on back order so I'll do them once they come in.
Went to PineValley Raceway in Lufkin, TX (~100 miles north of Houston) track this past Saturday. First time doing the 1/4 mile as I have done the 1/8 mile a handful of times with my best 1/8 ET a 7.79. Managed to barely get into the 11s with a 11.9977 with a +1000 DA. Will be going back this Saturday if weather permits as there is possibility for rain in Houston. Hoping for 11.8X as I was able to increase my mph from 116 to 119mph with proper shifting. The tracks out in the country so it was funny hearing the locals were surprised with how well my car ran.
Went off idle, sport mode, long press VSC off, and manual mode
2012 Lexus ISF Mods:
PPE headers
Hayward & Scott exhaust
RR tuned intake system
RR tune 7200 redline
< 1/4 tank of gas
17" rear XXR Mickey Thompson et street s/s (Thanks to JDMV8 for information for fitting 17s)
Removed spare, tools, engine cover expect passenger/intake side, and bottom bench rear seat (back part won't pull out for some reason so I gave up)
I'm extremely impressed with your run. I only managed a 13.1 @ 109 here a couple weeks ago. I don't have to tune or anything but I'm tempted to. I believe I heat soaked my motor on my runs. Have to iron I some issues and head back to see what I can really do.

The back cushion is secured with some hardware and then you just yank it upright to remove it from the deck lid clips. Helps to remove the C pillar covers.

Heat soak does have a big role. My best 2 runs out of the 9 was after ~1 hour cool down (12.05 and 11.99). Especially in hot weather multiple back to back runs doesn't seem ideal.

I removed the 4 bolts holding the seat back and I yanked up on with all my might but it would not bulge like it did it some of the video tutorial. Will try removing the C pillar next time.[/QUOTE]

What rear wheels are you running?
Model, size, offsets etc?
no modification to fit the 17s?
What RPM were you shifting at? I was under the impression that the converter unlocks past 6800 so anything past that is a waste anyway
I ran XXR 550 17x9.25 +36. No modifications needed for me but I'm on stock suspension and height.
I was shifting as close to 6800 trying not to go past redline. Yes the converter does unlock past 6800 which I assume is kind of like revving in neutral (maybe someone can explain this better). I noticed that if you end up shifting past 6800 with the redline raised it will slip a little bit then shift. Doing that I ended up increasing my mph from 116 to 119 by the end of day getting the shifts right.

So with my runs, I had all of the engine covers off and didn't open the hood once to cool it off. I think the secondary intake was sucking in hit engine bay air 130* or more. I even had the car turned on at times idling in the staging lanes. And I know better than that lol.
