So with my runs, I had all of the engine covers off and didn't open the hood once to cool it off. I think the secondary intake was sucking in hit engine bay air 130* or more. I even had the car turned on at times idling in the staging lanes. And I know better than that lol.

Heat soak does have a big role. My best 2 runs out of the 9 was after ~1 hour cool down (12.05 and 11.99). Especially in hot weather multiple back to back runs doesn't seem ideal.
I removed the 4 bolts holding the seat back and I yanked up on with all my might but it would not bulge like it did it some of the video tutorial. Will try removing the C pillar next time.

I ran XXR 550 17x9.25 +36. No modifications needed for me but I'm on stock suspension and height.
I was shifting as close to 6800 trying not to go past redline. Yes the converter does unlock past 6800 which I assume is kind of like revving in neutral (maybe someone can explain this better). I noticed that if you end up shifting past 6800 with the redline raised it will slip a little bit then shift. Doing that I ended up increasing my mph from 116 to 119 by the end of day getting the shifts right.[/QUOTE]
Thanks for providing the link to your rear wheels. How are they holding up? I'm thinking of buying a set of 17in wheels to put drag radials on and the XXRs appear to be one of the cheapest options.

With I/H/E/T and e30 blend I dynoed at 441 WHP. This is on a really happy dyno so ~420WHP.

First time running the F.
PPE headers, joez exhaust, rr tune and intake.
20inch wheels with r888r’s in the rear.
Shoulda done bracket racing.
85 degree day, intake temps 110.

Launched off idle. Likely adding the bottle but want a chance on a cool day to get a lower et.

First Drag with the F
Took the car (bone stock) to the drag strip for the first time. Pretty impressed. However, I realized I was racing with the traction control on when I got home. Did any of you do better with the traction control off? Also, had just over 3/4 tank; was really hoping to have just under 1/2 tank of gas when I was racing. Next time, traction control off and less fuel...
