I thought crank HP was measured with no exhuast after the exhaust manifold and no pipes/filter in front of the intake manifold? If this is the case, the "% tranny loss" really is % tranny loss + cat + muffler + extra piping + tire friction losses. So, all this talk about so and so's IS-F having more than 416 HP is all bogus except the guys that are FI and nitrous.

Let's do some stupid math:
Stock IS-F Crank 416HP
HoustonT's Stock IS-F Wheel 357HP
HoustonT's drive train losses 416/357=1.165 = 16.5%
HoustonT's Modded IS-F Wheel 383HP
HoustonT's Modded IS-F Crank (383x1.165) = 446HP
There you go, he got 446HP at the crank
Keep in mind that math is stupid, as you can't really compare the manufacturer crank HP # to a real word dyno #, then you got dyno differences, then car differences...
But hey it is a number but that will answer your question!
Stock IS-F Crank 416HP
HoustonT's Stock IS-F Wheel 357HP
