^Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a drop in tank average ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Has anyone else who installed the Joe Z exhaust painted the tips black? Not the stock tips on the car but the Joe Z exhaust ends? I think a few have done this and am curious if others are following suit. It is supposed to hide the exhaust better.

It'll be hard to keep one's foot out of it tho, unless highway cruizin', with such sweet 'music' on tap.

WHERE DOES ONE BUY THE EXHAUST AND INTAKE?
A private message will be fine - no need to tell me to "use the search feature..." - i've already tried that

LX470man,
It is probably possible to do it in your garage but I would suggest that you find a lift so that you can work on it much easier. It took us about 1.5 hours to remove the old exhaust system and install the new one.
You will need the short oxygen sensor socket shown in several of the threads discussing the JOE Z exhaust system.
It is a complete bolt in system and the fit up was excellent. You will need to use a lubricant, such as WD40 to lubricate the rubber hangers when removing the old exhaust sytem. It is, more or less, a brute force removal. You will need either large screw drivers or a pry bar to pry the rubber hangers off the conical end caps on the OEM hangers.

I agree with what Pat said regarding the install, you can do it, just make sure you have room to get under the car and to remove and reinstall the exhaust as well as you have the right tools handy.
I used a lift at a buddy's shop to do the install and it worked perfectly. There is an entire thread on the O2 sensor removal tool that you need to be able to safely remove, well, the O2 sensors
