It is probably possible to do it in your garage but I would suggest that you find a lift so that you can work on it much easier. It took us about 1.5 hours to remove the old exhaust system and install the new one.
You will need the short oxygen sensor socket shown in several of the threads discussing the JOE Z exhaust system.
It is a complete bolt in system and the fit up was excellent. You will need to use a lubricant, such as WD40 to lubricate the rubber hangers when removing the old exhaust sytem. It is, more or less, a brute force removal. You will need either large screw drivers or a pry bar to pry the rubber hangers off the conical end caps on the OEM hangers.

i dont understand about the "You will need the short oxygen sensor socket shown in several of the threads discussing the JOE Z exhaust system" you mean a part to remove the 02 sensor? does anyone have a part # or what its called>? im am so clueless now. maybe pics of what you guys are talking about?

Post #98. There is a picture of the O2 sensor removal tool. Within the thread there are several model numbers anywhere from the Lexus socket (about $45) to much cheaper versions.
