One of my previous Lexuses (Lexi?), an SC-430, had the name Mark Levinson boldly printed on the audio/NAV rack identifying it as such. How do you know if your IS-F is ML or not? Thanks in advance!

If it has Mark Levinson....It should have Mark Levinson Printed on the DVD/CD changer

Very Few Fs were manufactured without the ML unit. But as has been stated above, if your vehicle has it, it will be embossed on the CD unit. It will also be listed as an accessory on the window sticker. There is also an amplifier in the trunk under the floor mat with has the ML logo on it.

mark levinson has 14 speakers rather then 13... also has louder, cleaner sound...

basically all lexus are the same. if they have ML, you see it around the cd/radio unit

You also get the added benefit of a in Dash 6 Disc CD / DVD changer...

The DVD Changer is there only when you get the ML in conjunction with the Navigation. The ML with no nav. has a 6 disc CD changer like the standard Premium System.

Hey Joe, do you still have the disc loading instructions on your ML as shown in the picture?

on lexus website, the ISF stereo system was categorized under "premium" whereas LS stereo system was under "reference." the 6.5" in LS and ISF are different. in ISF it looks like paper cone. i wonder if upgrading the ISF 6.5" woofer would make any significant difference.

^^^^Joe Z has an IS-350, not an IS-F. There are other signs that it's different too.

I will need to get my override installed soon on the F. Thank god it's transferrable from my GS. Then i'll have Joe Z drive my car and take the same exact pic.
