I agree. When/if I am in the market for a beater it will be something I can use in snow as well as dropping by Home Depot and picking stuff up. Those racing stripes were requested by my grandmother if you can believe that. In fact her car hasn't been washed in like 8 years so her paint has totally lost any luster, but those stripes have held up very well!

You guys will hate the fact we are having weather in the 80s and sunny. Rain in the forecast for this week, but still drivable for the F.

You guys are freakin' comedians.
It did get all the way up to 10 C (50 F) today here....almost a heat wave for Mar. 2 in the Great White North...lol.
The F is a dirty pig right now....but I have no issues in the snow/slush and ice.

It snowed in Atlanta yesterday. 24 years living in Sacramento and never once did I see snow on the ground and only twice in the air. Move to "Hotlanta" and we've had a couple of snow days every year since. Damn. But nothing to be worried about driving, and no need for snow tires at all. Don't even need snow mode. The roads were already clear when I drove to work at 10am (work Pacific time zone support hours), just cold. Not even any ice on the road.
The only thing I miss about CA is the weather and In-n-Out. Everything else you can keep, and I just spent five days in NorCal with pouring down rain last week (but you bet I satisfied my In-n-Out urge!).

Discretion was the better part of valor yesterday and I stayed home and out of the snow. Today, I drove to the bus stop and almost couldn't get over a 2-inch ice berm. Everyone's right in that this car is silly sick in the winter time and I will consider getting a beater. Brat, you must be in the mil or gov talking about that "leave" business. I don't have many hours left but the boss does know that I have a tendancy to stay home when there's frozen precip on the groung. Take care all.

When I lived in Arlington I had a heck of a time with my Sentra Specv when it snowed and that was FWD so I cannot imagine the F in those conditions now that I think about it.
Still miss NOVA though!
