Default Wider tires on the stock rims?

I was wondering if when it comes time for new tires if I could go a bit wider on the stock wheels? If so, what size would you recommend?

I just think a wider tire looks good from the back of the car. I would want to keep the stagger the same as the factory setup so I wouldn't risk screwing up the handling too much. Also, I wouldn't go wider than 275s in the rear to keep from increasing unsprung weight too much.

Again - Look at my post above, and go into that thread. I believe it will answer your questions. If you have more, bring 'em on, and we can discuss.

Thanks for the link.

Has anybody tried the 235/40-19 front/265/35-19 rear setup? I'm still at the factory ride height so I was thinking these might even help take care of the front wheel gap just a bit.

the standard OEM tire set up already extends past the lip of the wheel, any wider IMO would look gay!

Yes, I have, and I would go that way, but the selection of tires is very slim in those sizes. I may just go with a 245/35/19 in front, a little to small in diameter, and the 265/35/19. We'll see.

I'm leaning towards going with the new Nitto Invo's The Invo's are going to have a quieter and softer ride as well as better wet traction then the NT05's.
