What is the reason u want to put wider tires? Had same idea, but stayed with standarts...
I just think a wider tire looks good from the back of the car. I would want to keep the stagger the same as the factory setup so I wouldn't risk screwing up the handling too much. Also, I wouldn't go wider than 275s in the rear to keep from increasing unsprung weight too much.
Whoever you spoke to is wrong Wont fit the car or the wheels.

Wow thats weird he said it was lexus largest size they recommended. Do you know lots about tires and wheels? If so what would you put i too would like a wider stance but may just buy forged 3 piece wheels so i can get that stance.

Again - Look at my post above, and go into that thread. I believe it will answer your questions. If you have more, bring 'em on, and we can discuss.
Has anybody tried the 235/40-19 front/265/35-19 rear setup? I'm still at the factory ride height so I was thinking these might even help take care of the front wheel gap just a bit.

Yes, I have, and I would go that way, but the selection of tires is very slim in those sizes. I may just go with a 245/35/19 in front, a little to small in diameter, and the 265/35/19. We'll see.
i just did thanks. for now im gonna go with the Nt05 or the nitto invo which do you feel is better?
I'm leaning towards going with the new Nitto Invo's The Invo's are going to have a quieter and softer ride as well as better wet traction then the NT05's.
