More power and weight shaving options would be sweet

Quick question though for reference, can't you order the F without the sunroof?

So realistically, we'll be lucky if they have a 2010 model. But if I were doing one, I'd ask for

540 hp (gotta keep up with Caddy)
500 lb weight reduction (3300 lbs would be OK)
285/35/19 Front and 335/30/19 Rear (car could really use more rubber on the ground!)
Adjustable suspension by Penske or Moton.
6 inch height reduction
rear seat delete option in a Coupe offering
penske/moton suspension in a mass produced vehicle? I wish.

I've seen both C&D and Road & Track get 0-60 time of 4.2. Other publications seem to range from 4.4 to 4.7. As with any of these number there are too many variables to say for sure what any one car will do on any given day.

+1

If one person can reach 4.2 and another driver 4.7 then guess how fast an IS-F can get to sixty? 4.2 seconds, because that's what the car is capable of.

Oh and Cayman blasted off a 12.3 at 115 mph in his IS-F so guess how fast an IS-F can run the 1/4 mile in......................you guessed it

manufactures are always very conservative on there numbers... they dont want to post false numbers, and get sued for false advertising..

If they would put 0-60 in 4.2 seconds.. yet i only get 0-60 in 4.5 everytime.. that is false advertising

I would imagine they put the best times they can get for 0-60 considering it's an important marketing element to selling a sports sedan. But I'll believe 4.2s if someone is willing to video tape it. 4.2 vs 4.6 is a decent sized difference there.

8speed: I can say i can get it in 3.0s flat, but that doesn't mean much without proof.

So did you watch a video of Lexus's 4.6 sec time? What's with all of the doubt??? 4.2 second is well documented on a closed track by guess what, "professional drivers!" But I guess that 3.9 sec run by a C63 is a bunch of BS too...

You want proof , but you would "imagine" ,which is speculation BTW that Lexus would put down the best times.
