That definitely is a bummer. See if you can fight it and ask for the Lexus Japanese OEM glass made by AGC (Asahi Glass Co), vs. the NAGS/Aftermarket replacement.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I'll give Lexus a call tommorow to make sure everything will be cleaned up properly. Regarding the glass getting replace, I presume if I take it to Lexus they will replace with OEM glass?!

Yeah that's usually the case at Lexus service dept. They really cant fight it that way. Probably best to leave it there and let them handle the rest. Make sure the advisor informs you if they say otherwise. Being it's customer service, they will make sure its right.

Keep in mind some dealerships call in a third party to do glass replacement so be very specific about what you expect.

didn't look like you had any tint, maybe time to invest in some tint, also can save some glass from going all over the place.

Thiefs do this all the time hoping they'll find keys and other stuff and track you down to your house and they rob you when you're not home. Hope you didn't leave any keys or garage open in the vehicle.

Sorry to see this happen!! Good luck with the repairs! If it makes you feel better, I just got mine back from repairs. A guy in a pickup truck decided it would be funny to back a trailer into my front end

This stuff happens all the time. One of my friends also had his GPS stolen, along with his bowling shoes (!)
Never leave anything in plain sight. I don't even leave quarters out.

Good luck
