Default Widest tires on stock wheels

Anyone know the widest tires on stock wheels front and rear without rubbing and minimal speedo error. Thanks.

It's possible, but with a 9" rim, it's a little on the tight side. Ideal rim width is 9.5"

You could do 265/30/19. There also appears to be more choices in that size than with 255/35/19. With the 2% gearing reduction you'd have slightly quicker acceleration, but also have a slightly larger wheel gap or go with 265/35/19 which is only 1% higher gear increase and would slightly fill the rear wheel gap. 275 width on a 9" rim is just too much IMO.

When you go with a taller tire than stock you effectively lower your gear ratio (numerically) at the wheels and therefore decrease acceleration slightly. The reverse holds true for a slightly smaller tire. With the sizes mentioned I doubt you would notice the difference.

Bump...anyone have any further info on this. I'm also looking to possibly switch to different tires soon.

My next set of tires will be 265/35/19 for the rear. 255 is just not wide enough for the power. The 225's up front are fine though.
