IS-F TT Coming to TX2K9
So by chance, I learned today that Artisan, the same company that built the orange SEMA TT IS-F is now based in Houston. They bought a stake in (or are now partnered with) www.turbochargers.com and are located only 10 minutes from my house. They have decided to sponsor TX2K9 and tonight I saw a black IS-F they are putting a TT kit on and also hear of another blue IS-F TT that has the same widebody kit that the orange Artisan car had. In any event, they "MIGHT" dyno the TT at TX2K9 on Friday and plan to have the car (possibly 2 of them) for the Saturday drag event.

I also found out they run only 3.5 psi on pump gas and make just under 500 rwhp with that set-up. They also have a 5 psi setting which utilizes pump gas and methanol that makes "considerably more than 500 rwhp"
Come on out if you want to see their work, TRULY IMPRESSIVE!

Good stuff Peter! Are you still planning on attending TX2K9? If so, please get some pics of all the good stuff they have out there, I hear it's a great event!

BigMike - I am the event founder and organizer, so yes, I'll be there.
I am sure there will be 100's of pics all over the internet after the event, there always is! With my F, the TT F's, Bernard's F and his two friends, we'll have ATLEAST 6 in attendance.
As for the TT car, it's a factory ECU that goes through a proprietary reflash by the guys at www.turbochargers.com as I understand it.

Sounds like a great event your putting on. I know a lot of guys from the Dallas area clubs (Dallasimports, Ricekiller, etc.) that are heading down there for the event
If I wasn't out of state, I would also be attending

See you Thursday at MSR. I believe that Edgar (white ISF) is/was involved with turbochargers Inc. Since the Artisan TTISF will be there on Saturday I guess I will have to come out Saturday, too. Plan to be there Sunday for the 60-130mph runs.
