Ventross front lip pictures
#4
It started out with just gaps at the sides of the lip, just in front of the wheel. I washed the car and water seeped into that crevice. The water unstickied my sticky tape, which im unsure was supposed so be applied anyways. It was mounted using the stock 6 "engine shield" mounts, close to the front of the bumper.. the ones that hold plastic just under the motor. I felt like i needed to add the sticky tape cuz the front lip wasnt secure at all. Being held in 6 inches into the bottom of the bumper by the thin fiberglass that extended from the visible part of the lip (the carbon fiber) wasnt very reassuring.
Anyways, sorry for the poopy pictures. They were taken from my phone and the sun was glaring my screen so bad i didn't know what i was aiming at.
If anyone has any ideas on how to have the lip stick to the bumper again, other than drilling into the bumper, any info is appreciated.

Looking good man! I guess take it to a reputable body shop and see what they can do.. it doesnt wrap around the front of the wheel well so i dont see anything possible unless its drilled in from under the car...

Robs: Thanks bro! Im bringing it to my body shop next monday, i just hope it stays on whien im on the freeway. =/ haha
MRxSlay: It was an intake with a tube. Greyish in color. I saw it with my own eyeballs. I even checked K&N online once i got home, but they didn't have it on their site yet.
CrazyMPG: First of all, you're my hero. I was gonna call Ventross and tell them about the lip fitment after i put it on, but i'm an impatient guy, . I took it for a drive knowing it wasn't perfectly fitting and scraped it. haha. Its real low. I think me scraping can be put to blame for the fitment issues, tho i know at heart it never fit well to begin with.

Nice ride!
Looks good, but that fitment sucks, and IMO that's unacceptable given the price of that lip. I also say take it back to Ventross and ask them what's up!
BTW - Do you have any info on your headlights? Looks sick. Did you DIY or take it to a shop? Price? I've been wanting to do this but don't have the guts to put my lights in the oven (Nor is that possible for me cuz I have clear bra on my headlights...) Thanks!
