Default seat ventilators

available on the IS350 but not on the IS-F....WT-F.
Anyone know if it is possible to put them in?

I imagine it would entail swapping out the heat control switches to the heat/vent switches found in the IS350, running some wires, installing the blowers, and then rigging them to blow into the seats, which I assume are different enough underneath to cause some problems.

^The issue was lack of space in the bottom of the IS-F seat. To achieve the better bolstering, they had to sink the seat down and to the back. The engineers literally ran out of room to stuff the necessary padding and heated/vented seats, so they went with what fit - the heaters only.

That is correct. If the isf had the regular ventilated an heated seating, headroom would be deminished for the taller folks wearing helmets. As javylsu mentioned, space was a factor.

Right but you could order an IS-F with ventilated seats in 2008. They were identical to the seats in the IS350, not the sport seats commonly found in the F. I wouldn't give up the seats for ventilation, they're just too good.

you could order a ISF with venti seats in 2008. I thought this was not possible to order a car this way.
