Default best street tire-Yokohama Advan Neova AD08

~ $540 each for the rear and ~ $510 each for the front. OUCH! Treadwear 180. i will stick with Eagle F1 for now.

I really doubt you'll be able to beat the PS2 in stock sizes because it was modified for the F and is unique to the F if you order it correctly. The Yokohama may cost more, but I really doubt it will be better adapted to the F than the Michelin.

I was thinking about getting some Toyo T1R's next. The reviews look great. Anyone use these before?

I've used Advans in the past as well as PZero, PZero Rosso Asimmetrico, PS2, Bridgestone S02/S03, Good Year F1, etc. If you want to get the most performance out of your car you better ride on Advans.

t1r is a great tire, I have pushed it to the limit and it performs well.

It has great traction / wet and dry and is very responsive when pushed to the limit.

Traction: 6
Responsiveness: 6

The next step, would be r1r or 888, which are even better.

T1R is not a great tire IMO... PS2 is probably one of the best I've had. I had the old Neovias and they are pretty decent.

The new AD08 is an r-compound. It will definitely outgrip the PS2, but will not last long.

I'd be using the T1R as a daily driver substitute only, not for track use. I was referring more to the cost vs performance. The PS2's are too expensive and don't need the most ideal tire for my day to day. If/when I track my ISF, I'll purchase a set of PS2's but that seems like overkill to spend that much on tires just to drive to work etc...

Has anyone had any experiences with the Toyos from a DD standpoint good or bad? Thanks

advan sports are a better tire than the T1R IMO (they dont last long either) ^^ They are well priced at 250/tire

Altho I've never been a fan of toyo with the exception of the RA-1 r compound..

I have those tires, but a 255/40/18R, grips amazing around corners and I was able to push the car much harder. I'm lacking in width, but compound matters the most. After these, I might get 275s, but unsure what to try... It's a daily driver with occasional canyon runs so I don't get much "fun" for the "cost" I paid haha.
