So I may have found the manufacturer of the front ceramic pads. On the side of the box that the pads arrived in, I see the following "Streetmax Ceramic Z16-1365"

To allow room for the brake fluid to flow back up into the reservoir with out creating any pressure, with the cap on.

The fluid flows back up while squeezing the brake caliper pistons back into place.

Thanks for the write up James! Keep us updated on the status of the pads. I'm ready for less wheel cleaning sessions.

As long as it's ok to mention brands, I did a google and came up with a company in North Carolina named Carbotech that makes ceramic/kevlar pads for the front end of our cars. They have 4 or 5 compounds and were very nice to talk to. They don't have rears but would be glad to re-line your old rears should you desire to send them in. I may give them a try.

Default 100mi on the new pads

Just hit 100 miles on the new front pads and I have a few things to comment on.

1. I now have more rear brake dust than I do in the front. I'd say dust is reduced by 80% compared to before.
2. Now I'd like to have matching pads for the rear, but no biggie.
3. The brakes are much quieter than stock
4. Stopping distance doesn't seem to be affected but does require more effort.
5. Initial bite is affected as they no longer suddenly grip like the stock pads.
6. They offer a more comfortable initial bite and no longer make noise when creeping along stop/go style in parking lots.

Rear after 100mi (has a noticeable amount of brake dust and isn't as shiny as the fronts)

Front after 100mi (notice the wheel is overall shinier than the rear?)

See post 16 bro.

I'm driving up to PA tomorrow which should put on another 160miles so I'll comment again on the dust.

Default 270mi update

The brakes are working flawlessly as described at my 100mi report. The brake dust appears to be about equal between the front and rear now which is good. Consider this my last report on the pads unless something unexpected comes up.

How is the condition of the rotors and any squeals or noises?

Rotors are in very good condition with plenty of meat and no warping as the braking is smooth and shake free. Had a few squeals during the break in period, but now silent as I believe they are now fully broke in.

I just got the same box in my mail

My car has new pads on it now
75$ for install + 120$ for ceramic pads = win.

Did you give the pads a nice bedding-in to the rotors? Once that is done give the car a few hundred miles and you'll find the braking feel gets better and even less dust.
